Lato (Sea Grapes)





Lato (Sea Grapes) is  my favorite seaweed.  During my younger years my mother always prepare a Lato Salad every time I don't  feel to eat during lunch time. And my mother  said that lato is good in preventing some thyroid problem. Since it is a good source of  iron, iodine, calcium, vitamin A and C. That's why until now that I am already grown up, every time when I went to the supermarket I will make sure that I could buy a Lato. For me, is best side dish for the Fried fish or for Tinolang isda (Soup with fish). Below is the recipe for the Lato Salad


Lato Salad


Ingredients:

Lato (seaweeds), fresh
Tomato,chopped
Onions, chopped
vinegar,salt and sugar to taste

Procedure:
1. Lato should be washed and clean with water
2. Mix the chopped onion and tomato.
3 On a separate bowl combine vinegar, salt and sugar to make the dressing. You will pour the dressing just before serving so that it will not wilted.
